American Mathematics Competition. A 25 question test held every year in February in America that is 75 minutes long. The first few questions are relatively easy, but the last 5 questions are usually very brutal. It is split into AMC 10 for students who are in 10th grade or below and AMC 12 for students who are in 12th grade or below. If you aren't talking to people who are good at math, they'll think you are referring to the movie theater when you say "AMC."
