AM (Actual Machine) Technology is a slang term used by Engineers who are educated and understand the inner workings of a machine. Machines that run on AM technology are well understood, well documented, provide reliable results and are much easier to explain to a lay person. AM Technology is the opposite of PFM or PM Technology. Engineers who give a shit or are given the time to do their jobs right will create AM Technology.
