Used often in the country rap genre, but it basically means nigga, but it’s the backwoods version. It became popular because of a country rap artist that goes by Upchurch, his full name is Ryan Upchurch. He’s a primarily a country rap artist but often steps outside of that genre. He’s done traditional country, modern country, grunge rock, hip hop, and country rap. He’s kinda a jack of all trades. His success is incredibly impressive considering he is a completely independent artist who is signed by no one. They only affiliations that he has with any organization is a sponsorship with Redneck Nation. He has hundreds of millions of views on YouTube and one million on Instagram.
