the concept of the government owning a private company and bringing it to "public hand"(despite it being called that, the people get no say apart from voting). The government then either leaves it is or throws public money that could have been better used at other stuff. However, there are a few things everyone will agree should be nationalised This idea is mostly seen with the left such as Socialists, Democratic Socialists(Labour party) and Liberals. They mainly whine how "capitalism ruins private un-nationalised companies"
