I use the word ‘BURLESQUISH’ when referencing behavior and/or speech. I’ll only confine myself to its recent origin (Spanish) rather than Older Latin roots. Burla is Spanish for poking/making fun- at someone else’s expense. This Poke or Fun is not to denote any praise or approval m, but an intense derision of its object. BURLESQUISH denotes intending to deminish belittle deride devalue (Harm] a person or a situation.
