A rare natural phenomenon which occurs in Residential roofing, where a previously sound roof develops a sporadic leak lasting a few minutes in the night. Reported cases have described the effects of Webb Roof Phenomenon (WRP) as being a small-medium wet patch of a yellowish hue. One unconfirmed case in the East Midlands reported a faint odor of ammonia in the room after WRP. This popular case is now commonly refererred to as the Webb Roof Phenomenon Isolated Scented Secretion (WRPISS)
