Rapper .. Jason Mills (born May 24, 1992), known professionally as IDK, formerly Jay IDK, is an American rapper and record producer from Prince George's County. He is considered as one of the best rappers of the new school rap. He has worked with fellow rappers like Denzel Curry, Chief Keef, Joey Badass, Maxo Kream, Wale and Token just to name a few. Can you tell us what IDK means? Where did it come from? “Jay is short for Jason, which is my real name. IDK stands for ignorantly delivering knowledge. I tell people nowadays I don’t know if you don’t know, you feel what I’m saying? For the people who haven’t necessarily been with me since day one, they may not know that. They can go figure it out, but that’s what it means, that’s what it actually stands for. Where it came from was when I spent time in jail, I just wanted to have an anonymous name for when I started rapping and I was like let me think of some names. One I came up with was IDK, like I don’t know, but I wanted it to mean something. That’s where the acronym comes from”
