WFH has long been used by employees as an abrupt post to their work chat channel without much context in an effort to portray productivity ("I don't have time to type out a sentence explaining my physical absence because I have to get back to my important work ASAP"). Nowadays this is thought to be sneaky as WFH has often been abused as a way to slack off at home. Thus WFHH (Work From Home Homies) has evolved from to portray both productivity and sense of camaraderie to alleviate some of the heat generated from using WFH.
