a compound of the words "glass", "ankles". This term describes painful or injured ankles due to infirmity or misadventure. This term is often used used when a person receives ground-shock when jumping down from something, when an athlete becomes injured from landing on their foot poorly, or in video gaming, where a player's character takes unexpected "fall damage". The term is similar to "grankles"; infirmity of ankles, and subsequent difficulty walking, due to frailty of advanced age.
