When you read something authored by the online magazine Buzzfeed, you believe it to be true and proceed to spread the titillating news all over social media. Within 24 hours the often salacious news is discredited and found to have no basis in fact and was never verified but leaves behind a shit-storm amongst journalists and their loyalists who begin crashing A propaganda story planted on BuzzFeed that will go from zero-viral in 15 minutes, even though it is unverified it relies on the if-true media to perpetuate it long enough for people to be left with a false impression thereby shoring up a reader or viewers bias.
