A method of harassment in the form of trolling, whereby an approved narrative (usually breathtakingly wrong) is enforced through the stifling of dialogue via character assassination, contrived or manufactured "evidence," or impersonation of the individual. When the harassment takes a particular misogynistic tone, the troll usually pretends that the women he is harassing are actually men misrepresenting themselves. The term comes from a work of literature by Polish author Jakub Krasinski, where he describes a Psyops Group called "Room 55, where soldiers are taught to use social media to harass these would-be journalists into silence."
