A muzzle gag is usually composed of a muzzle made out of leather, which is strapped tight to the wearer's face using a head harness. They have strong psychological effects, because the look of a person with a muzzle gag is similar to an animal. Most muzzle gags feature either a ballgag or pecker gag behind the muzzle to further silence the wearer, making them one of the most effective gags. A popular attachment to secure the gag further is a posture collar.
