The name derived from Kompa the popular music originated on the island of Haiti, is a Dance Studio located New York City that offers many styles of Kompa dancing which include: Kompa and Beat, KomPassion (Also known as "Kompa Love", "Kizomba" Kompa Gouyad or just "Zouk",) KomPadou, Kompa-Rengue, Salsa-Kompa, KompaChata, Kompa-Ragga, and KompAfro and Beat. Kompa! Kompa! Kompa! Dance Studio offer classes for all levels. Whether you are a beginner Kompa dancer or an advanced dancer, Kompa! Kompa! Kompa! Dance Studio offers many different classes during the week. Classes range from Kompa on the 1 and "Private 1 on 1 dance session" which runs for 1 hour long and features a male or female instructor. Kompa on the 1 and 2 "group classes" which are run for 2 hours long and features male and female instructors. Each class is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to Kompa dance which include, Kompa etiquette, floorcraft, leading/following techniques and partner safety.
