A store normally associated with the prep subculture. Most of the people that speak badly of it are those who believe that they are above anyone that happens to shop there, which is normally because of the fact that they shop at stores with incredibly expensive clothing. What they don't realize is that shopping at Abercrombie & Fitch, AE, Hollister Co., or any other expensive store doesn't automatically make you better than anyone else. In my opinion, a majority of the clothing found in any of those stores is rather ugly and unappealing, but I guess it all depends on personal style. While I'm not one to shop at Aéropostale, I believe it has a much more appealing selection of clothing than a store such as AE.
