A term used by advisors at the delta sonic car wash chain that refers to when 3 or more customers in line purchase the basic wash, destroying sales bonuses and the mental state of the advisors. When this term is experienced it can cause hostility, destructiveness, irrational behaviors, emotional meltdowns, and complete chaos amongst the advisors. In severe situations advisors may lash out at customers with profanity and death threats, smash their phists into the register worth hundreds of dollars, contemplate their life decisions that eventually leads to mental breakdowns, and on occasion suicide. The customers part of the “basic bomb” line can easily be spotted with the passive aggressive notes under their license plate. Similar terms include but are not limited to “basic party”, “basic parade”, “B-Train”, “basic stampede”.
