Noun (proper) Sanskrit Goddess of Hinduism Refers to the Goddess of power, feminity, strength, and destructor of all evil. It is the name used by Goddess Durga’s (Hinduism) avatar which is visible to mortal humans. ‘Pratyaksh’ literally means ‘to be seen’ and is also the name of Lord Shiva, the lord of destruction. Pratyaksha is the name used for his wife, and this avatar was the one which came to earth, to make fellow human beings believe in Gods. Pratyaksha is also one of the three key disciplines of acquiring knowledge, under which data collection takes place.
