Of or related to a Rhetorical tactic used to deflect attention away from an issue while absolving the user of all moral responsibility to actually do something about the problem at hand. This is often characterized by the use of furrowed brows and obsequious platitudes to further spineless political ambitions while providing little substance or evidence of character.
