A polyamorous relationship between two males and a female. The details of who is dating who is up to the people involved. In some, only one partner is engaging in polygamy/polyandry while the other two are monogamous. Since these triads can be very different, the seriousness of these relationships can vary. MFM stands for Male, Female, Male as opposed to FMF (Female, Male, Female) which describes the genders of the participants involved.
