The feeling that you will never be good enough. Whether it be good enough for the person you love, the people you hang out with, or in the things you do. When you want to do something for someone, but you feel that they deserve more. The empty feeling you get when you look around and see that everyone else is living their lives content, but you feel inferior to them all. Feeling like when someone introduces you, everyone knows you don’t belong with them. Genimwertlos usually occurs when you are around people who you compare yourself to, when you mess up around people whose opinions you care about, and when you can’t seem to figure something out. The word stems from the German words “genug”, meaning enough, “immer”, meaning always, and “wertlos”, meaning worthless. The words combined show the feeling of being forever just worthless enough to not be good enough.
