A self-projecting, manipulative antagonist who typically plays the role of a victim while acting out predatory actions through deception. Usually a man or woman who makes sexual advance on vulnerable people through the use of mind altering substances and/or semantics. Burnette is derivative of “burn out”. The burnette is typically a person burnt out with nothing left to lose and a willingness to bring their own despair to others. This is a common term originating within the subculture of the AVA Movement.
