Un petit nabot bleu. A little blue elf. "Les Schtroumpfs" was a Belgian comic by Peyo that Hannah Barbara bought and made into a cartoon, translating the title as Smurfs. Smurf sounds SO STUPID, so never use that word! Always say schtroumpf. It's ten letters long, but only one syllable, pronounced: sh't'<rh>oomp'ff. In the comic, the schtroumpfs replace random verbs, nouns, and adverbs with schtroumpfer, schtroumpf, and schtroumpfement.
