How a person measures/thinks about this ratio will differ widely. A very altruistic person that gives a lot towards others "without the need to get anything back in return" still may get back a lot - simply in the form of positive emotions/feelings/praise, etc.

-	A"pseudo-sociopsychological" term that I came up with some time ago. Recently someone left my life for all the wrong reasons. My neighourhood seems to go down the drain.
