Only the Boston Celtics have more NBA championships. Some of the greatest players of all time have played for the Lakers organization. Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, Shaquile O' Neal, George Mikan, and the list goes on. The Lakers manage to make a run for the title in almost every decade. Sure, there are years when the team sucks, but they always come back eventually. We had a nice string of titles a few years ago and now we're mediocre again. The Shaq trade was a bad idea but the Lakers will be back sooner or later.
