LIT (Laundry in transition) A term used generally by milennials to refer to clothing that has already been worn but doesn't yet necessitate washing. Some milennials may choose to designate a place for the LIT because they feel that these clothes don't belong with the clean ones. Typical LIT designated locations are chairs, beds, floors, couches, etc.
