The act of being toxic in an online space is being unreasonably malicious/malevolent. Often using any and every adjective with a negative connotation that they can think of to direct at you or a body of people. Whether it be racist, homophobic, misogynistic, or bigoted. There is no boundaries to what they will say and are only acting that way as they are unable to do it in a IRL physical space as there would be consequences to their actions. Unfortunately there isn't whilst under the "invisibility cloak" of online anonymity.
