Abbreviation of the phrase “You don’t know what you don’t know”. Phrase coined by Martiros Aghajanyan quickly became popular due to his distinctive tempered pronunciation of it. Quickly gaining popularity in Los Angeles area it is often used to refer to that of what we are unaware or uncertain of. The phrase is similar to Donald Rumsfeld’s quote in it’s literal form “We don’t know, what we don’t know”, but is more synonymous to Charles Dickens's “Never say never”. It is often accompanied with a slightly wiggly upwards movement of the index finger and is predominantly used in a sarcastic context. Synonyms: You never know, Uncertainly, Never say never, Don’t say “HOP” before you jump (Slovak proverb) Official homepage of YDKWYDK organization is ydkwydk.org
