Secateurs are mini garden shears used to cut back plants from soft plants to hardwood material. Usually consist of having the top blade sharp and the other blunt: depending on the make. They also require the effort of making a fist for it to close. Secateurs don't need to be sharpened but they may need to be filed if the blade gets stiff. They also have a habit of getting blunt. Making cuttings a harder job.
