A cross between a cello and viola, the ciolla is comprised of a body made from the wood of a Callery Pear (Cum Trees), a bow forged of gator skin and strings delicately spun with gator intestines. The ciolla is typically paired with a heavy subwoofer to create screeching harmonic melodies. The ciolla must always be pronounced with a southern accent.
