When searching personal ads there will be a lot of ads with women requiring roses. Usually they literally instruct people calling on them for a "Date" to "Bring Roses." Likewise ads with roses in the Emoticon are also an implication of prostitution. Many prostitutes will also use the number of roses to advertise rates.
