To tweak; the act of criddling 1. To act as a criddler would; meaning to barely count as a human being while existing in your own thoughts/world/frame of reality. 2. To rummage aimlessly through junk (usually a first time aquaintence, or complete stranger) and pull out items (mostly useless) that catch your eyes because you can use them/they're what you've been looking for all along/you think it's cool/it's just what you need to finally finish a long undone project.

To sit in a corner, empty/separate room, or even the other end of a couch from others, spread out your belongings (i.e. markers, electronic parts, notebooks, bag contents to be reorganised) and perform a meaningless, solitary, time consuming project, task, or activity while attempting to pay attention to and carry on one or more conversations; all in an effort to remain social.
