the act of one missing another- terms of deep love, sexual attractiveness, and relationships- despite the actual realization that the one is better off without the other. -Better off considered- only by leading a life more healthy, safe, and emotionally stable once the emotional or physical abuse of the other is rid of by not being in a relationship anymore. There are feelings included within such a state such as guilt, depression, and a longing for the other by dwelling on only the optimistic high points of relationships and disregarding all the negatives. Act results in the overlooking of many instances of terrible physical/emotional abuse by focusing on few positive moments. The act of also one disregarding every piece of prior advice offered by close family and friends to leave relationship earlier to reduce effect of such an attachment.
