Frequently pronounced as follows in the west (eyeman, I- man) the same way some seem to have basterdized words like Iraq and pronounce it ( I-rack) or Iran ( I-ran) no...just no. I am not an apple product nor are these countries. It is pronounced (Eman...Eraq...Eran) Iman: means to have faith, to believe and trust. Now for the love of humanity stop telling people with this name to change it if they are Atheists. Seriously just stop. You can have faith in many things and not be religious. For example I have faith in humanity...see no religion! Also, last time I checked I didn't chose my name so stop telling atheists with this name to change it. Ok?
