A college which primarily concentrates on teaching science, technology, engineering, and math. Noted for their high acceptance standards, high fail-out and drop-out rates, dearth of female students, and copious consumption of alcohol by students (and professors). A good indicator of a nerd school is that its name includes the word "Tech". For example: Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Cal Tech, Rensselaer PolyTECHnic, Worcester PolyTECHnic, Massachusetts Institute of TECHnology.
