Alternative metal band formed in Sacramento in 1988. Released demo (Like) Linus in 1993. Released Adrenaline in 1995. Released Around The Fur in 1997. This brought them a lot more popularity and interest. Released White Pony in 2000 which was very experimental. The then four piece group became a five piece with Frank Delgado joining as the turntablist/audio. Released self titled in 2003. Frontman Chino Moreno worked with side project Team Sleep and released Team Sleep album in 2005 despite numerous delays. Hexagram EP was released to promote their self titled, including rare track called Lovers. Released Saturday Night Wrist in 2006 which got mixed reviews. Released Diamond Eyes in 2010 with former Quicksand bassist Sergio Vega due to Chi Cheng being involved in fatal car accident which left him in a coma. The band was working on an album Eros but never released it due to Cheng's accident. Released Koi No Yokan in 2012. Chi Cheng died in 2013 due to cardiac arrest during recovery. Released Gore in 2016. Released Eros track, Smile, on one year anniversary of Cheng's death. Deftones have a studio album collection, covers album, and b-sides and rarities. Frontman has worked in side projects Palms and Crosses.
