A-34 Comet The A-34 Comet was a British World War II tank. It was introduced in 1944, and made it to the front in 1945, a bit late. It was a revised version of the A-27 Cromwell with the 17-pounder battery from the Vicker’s Mark VI. Though it arrived too late, it was the best British tank.
