1: When high hopes are crushed by an unpredictable or disappointing events. Example: Our vacation started off "bad as brooklyn" when the plane was delayed 12 hours. 2: T.V or movie series that (re)makes movies or seasons that run too long and get ridiculous. Examples: Dexter, Shrek, Transformers, Every Bruce Willis series. This phrase ultimately refers to a popular T.V show that took a turn for the worse after the third season. The comedy series based out of a Brooklyn Police Precinct quickly became the butt of this joke/phase when the fourth season was released in 2016/17.
