Mummification is defined as preserving deceased human or animal skin and organs by removing the brain and the contents of the abdomen to avoid decaying because of Bacteria (that's the natural way of mummification). Mummification was a feature of several ancient cultures especially Egypt, Over one million animal mummies have been found in Egypt, many of which are cats. Pharaohs of Egypt were mummified because they believed that there is ''After Life'' so they were mummified and buried with their clothes,etc.
