"Involuntary Celibacy". A culture-bound syndrome among men frequenting specific parts of the internet. It manifests as an intensive obsession with the sufferer's own virginity. Common symptoms include: lack of introspection; externalisation of fault; depression; anhedonia; delusions; paranoia; fixation on sexuality; misogyny; misanthropy; revenge fantasies; thoughts of self-harm; thoughts of violence. Several violent crimes have been linked to Incel syndrome, most notably the La Vista spree killing of 23.May 2014.
