The female equivalent of a "bromance". A relationship between two straight female friends that spend so much time together and care about one another. Can be used to describe the close friendship between "besties" or "best friends". Derived from the word "doe", for female deer, to rhyme with the original word: romance. Termed as such by a twenty-something female Florida resident after the 2016 election to promote companionship among and between females.
