When two individuals agree to be in a relationship, but there are not any mutual romantic feelings or romantic bonds. Essentially, it is just a status. There may be infatuation involved prior to the quasirelationship, but once a couple decides to make it official, there may be feelings of awkwardness and regret subsequently leading to a breakup. Quasirelationships are often very brief, lasting only a week or a few weeks and maybe sometimes longer. They are prevalent among the inexperienced, young, and the immature.
