A word used by stuck up teenagers who think that if music is popular and the album gets into the top 10 then the band are automatically are rubbish and are terrible. One of the most 'sellout' bands of our time is Green Day. I am a Green Day fan and I will freely admit that but I have friends who in 2000 liked Green Day but since American Idiot claim 'Green Day are shit! They are such sellouts!' And these people haven't even heard of Kerplunk. I don't think that any band has sold out. Every band sets out to make music and to hopefully be famous. Everyone wants a limo. Everyone wants £1m record contract. Being rich doesn't mean you make rubbish music. It doesn't mean you don't care anymore. It just means you are rich and have a lot of fans. And Good Charlotte? MTV from the start in my opinion.
