Hillen was one of the most successful Dutch family built tobacco companies in Europe in the 18th-20th century. It seems that it was an early bird in the tobacco industry, which made the company successful. The brand got sold in Delft, The Netherlands in February 1930. The Hillen family still makes use of their profit from their ancestors.
