A wheel spin is when you are in first gear in a car with your foot held on the clutch and your foot on the throttle/accelerator revving it to a high rpm rate. Then you 'pop the clutch' (take foot of clutch and leave foot on the throttle) this will then cause the cars wheels to spin very quick with little grip causing smoke, loud screech and possibly a wheel mark in the road. This can also be known as a wheelspin
