Hope

Hope is a feeling, faint in your heart and soul. Sometimes you forget that it is there, but it can weather any storm. You can feel it anywhere you are, if you choose to remember how. Never lose hope! It will carry you through your darkest times and make you smile in some of your happiest.

Hope is the thing with feathers, That perches in the soul And sings the tune without the words, And never stops, at all. And sweetest in the gale is heard, And sore must be the storm That could abash the little bird, That kept so many warm. I've heard it in the chillest land, And on the strangest sea Yet never in extremity, It asked a crumb of me. --Hope, by Emily Dickinson

Hope

Hope: written about as a good thing that gives you strength to go on or the power to see things through. Hope: a thought that gives no reality to the situation and clouds the mind. A lose of hope makes one depressed, to much hope only makes the mind clouded. A balance of hope is needed.

Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul, And sings the tune--without the words, And never stops at all, And sweetest in the gale is heard; And sore must be the storm That could abash the little bird That kept so many warm. I've heard it in the chillest land, And on the strangest sea; Yet, never, in extremity, It asked a crumb of me. By: Emily Dickinson
