Avenged Sevenfold (also known as A7X) is a metalcore band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1999. The title 'Avenged Sevenfold' is taken from the biblical story of Cain and Abel in Genesis 4:15(NIV), which reads, "But the Lord said to him, Therefore whoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold". Band Members: M. Shadows - Lead Vocals Synyster Gates - Lead Guitar Zacky Vengeance - Rhythm Guitar Johnny Christ - Bass The Rev - Drums Albums: Sounding the Seventh Trumpet Waking the Fallen City of Evil

My favorite Avenged Sevenfold song is "Chapter Four".

A hardcore band born out of Huntington Beach California, Avenged Sevenfold(informally known as A7X) came together in hopes of being heard. Their mission was accomplished. Throughout their four albulms, Warmness on the Soul, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, Waking the Fallen, and their latest City of Evil, they have exposed the world to strong lyrics and powerful chords. Mixing sounds of bands such as Iron Maiden, Guns and Roses, and Bad Religion, they're creating music to make a scene about. Members include: M. Shadows - Lead Vocals Synyster Gates - Lead Guitar Zacky Vengeance - Guitar Johnny Christ - Bass The Rev - Drums

Just like everyother band out there, Avenged Sevenfold will Own Your Face!!

A crazy ass punk-metal or metalcore band with intense vocals and complex guitar riffs. A7X is another way to write their name.

Person 1: Dude, Waking the Fallen is a straight album. Person 2: Fo' serious. My fave track on that bi' be Second Heartbeat.
