Gigachad

A gigachad is an internet meme that refers to an extremely attractive and muscular man. The term is a portmanteau of "giga", meaning "extremely large", and "chad", a slang term for a physically attractive and confident man. The original gigachad meme originated in 2017 on the 4chan /pol/ board, where an anonymous user posted a photoshopped image of a Russian model named Ernest Khalimov. The image depicted Khalimov with an extremely large jawline, chiseled cheekbones, and a muscular physique. The post quickly went viral, and the term "gigachad" became associated with Khalimov's image. In the years since, the gigachad meme has been used in a variety of contexts. It is often used to describe men who are seen as being at the top of the male hierarchy, in terms of both physical attractiveness and social status.
