An acronym standing for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, and Two-Spirit. Two-Spirit being the millennia old identity within cultures of indigenous peoples of North America. This acronym is most commonly used in Canada (in fact it's often the default expanded acronym in Canada), despite there being Two-Spirit people in the states (duh). Possibly because of the higher percentage of indigenous people in the population. Sometimes a + is added to the end to include anyone not explicitly mentioned in the acronym, however queer is an umbrella term for anyone that is not cishet, so some consider it redundant.
