Green Day is a soft-core punk band that formed in 86'. This group tries to "fend-off" any 13 year old girl that loves their new albums with their cussing. "Fuck Yeah!" Billie says as a mother in the audience is covering her 14 year-old son's ears. (Totally Happened...went to a concert.) They fucking rock live! They have taken on a fake-punk look to impress the generation. It's all bullshit, but their music in Dookie, Kerplunk, or NIMROD is totally them. They have always followed their own music style. But have lately become pussies with their 2 newer albums. It got them FAMOUS...and they are some catchy songs. BUT WHAT THe Fuck happened? STill luv them

This cute mug reminded me of a quote from an obscure biography I found quite by accident in a tiny hole-in-the-wall 2nd hand shop in Portland, ME in 1987: 'The Life and Times of Lazarus of Bethany'.
