The battery percussion hijacked the name over the years because they technically are play drums while the frontline ensemble plays mallet instruments. 2. The most cocky section in the marching band. The frontline ensemble half of it is usually ok, but the battery percussion believe that they are almighty and are to cool for everyone else in the band
